If you’re not sure of the ring size you may need, you have a couple of options for figuring this out.
The fastest way is to visit your local jeweler who will use a professional ring sizer. Keep in mind that your ring size can fluctuate throughout the day based on weather, temperature, and physical activity. It’s good to be aware of this when getting your ring size. For example, I f your hands are cold, the perfect fit could be too tight in the summer and vice versa.
To get a better idea of how a ring will fit you throughout the day, wear a ring that you currently have and that fits the finger for which you’d like to purchase a new ring. Seeing how loose or tight it is throughout the day will give you a good idea if it’s the right size for your new ring.
Also be mindful of how thin or thick the band of your new ring will be. If the ring you wear at home is a 6, but very thin, you may wish to purchase a 6.5 or 7 for a thicker-banded ring. The opposite is true as well.
And if you’re ever in doubt, Patti is more than happy to talk with you about this prior to your purchase!
